hallo,
i'am new at this forum and i'm sorry to say that my englisch is not as wors than my deutsch..
i hope it's not a problem that i write and post in englisch, reactions however may be posted in german/deutsch..i would realy apriciate that because it's a good way to sharpen up my skills at the german language..but,enough bull for now..

my name is kees, and from your neighbourcountry holland..
i'm living in the north part of holland, friesland and if i got the time i fisch for pike and carp and search for stone artefacts from the paleolithicum, meso, and neolithicum..
i hope to get a little more knowledge about the stoneages in germany and to see a lot of artefacts from your country..also i will post some artefacts from holland now and than to let you see what i find over here..i hope you apreciate my posts from here and if there are any questions about anything, don't be affraid to ask..than again, you may answer or react in englisch but i rather learn the german language..but don't be to hard on me  :-D

there´s no trouble, kees, and we will interact  almost perfectly, both, in english and german language. The "roots" will fill eventual  lacks of understanding in improving our common heritage.
Happy to see you  in our community!

Hallo Kees, habe das hier erst jetzt gelesen. Willkommen, English is fine. Warum benutzt du ein Bild, auf dem du aussiehst wie "Rasputin"?

It is stupid, but i do not speak dutch. I'm living 10 min away from the "border". Aber geboren bin ich ganz woanders. Schön, dass du hier teilnimmst. Da ist es wirklich egal, in welcher Sprache das geschieht. Ich pass mich an und, wenn Bedarf da ist, übersetze ich einfach. Have fun and enjoy the forum. So, if you need translation, just make a note. But please, from English. And Kees, dont' forget: Borders are an artificial  product.

Greetings from Heinsberg,

Fritz.

thanks for the welcome steinsucher :super:
why rasputin..i think it's a nice avatar to use and a little promotion for my favorite band Type o Negative..and when you see my picture, and this avatar, when i don't shave for a week..guess what :-D

the fact you don't speak dutch is not a crime..if i didnt learned to speak and write dutch and englisch at school i would speak frisian only..
but your never to old to learn and by reading deutsch an spending a lot of time at vacation in deutschland mein deutsch is also getting better..

borders are only good for cheap feuerwerk an whisky.. :narr:
