After an expensive trip to the auto repair garage today, I was ready for a hunt and some peace of mind this evening.  It was dark, cold, windy and a mix of snow and rain but I didn't care, I got dressed in my best MD weather gear and went for it.  Had a great time for about 1.5 hrs and made a few nice finds.  Here are the finds, a few relics, two tags with the initials WS 4 and SW 5, the SW 5 tag has a deer or a rabbit in the center.  A 5 gram weight without any hallmarks, probably used at home and not in a business and a piece that I can not remember the name of, has to do with ammunition.

Obverse of a local beer token from the mid to late 1800s.  I scratched it near the 3 O clock position, certainly gives a sickly gut feeling when that happens!  Fortunately I have a few of these.  I was trying to pinpoint without using the PP feature and thought it was a piece of foil, I was experimenting and ouch!

Reverse of the beer token.

A nice surprise, obverse of a 1740 silver 3 Kreuzer coin from the Duke of Bavaria and Holy Roman Emporer, Carl Albrecht VII or AKA Charles Albert VII.  First silver find of 2007.

Reverse of the 1740, double headed Austrian eagle, center is the Bavarian Coat of Arms under the Habsburg reign, denomination (3) @ 7 O clock, (K) @ 5 O clock and date of 1740 @ the 4 O clock position.  HH, Mike
