I had a ring made for my wife's birthday from 14K (585) gold rings I have found. The ring matches the earrings I had made for Valentine's day, all with diamonds I had to buy extra. I designed it using several other pre made rings worth $800-1200 but my ring is a little thicker and heavier in gold. The ring has a .03KT diamond and two small blue sapphires, too bad I haven't found any diamond rings. How would you like to find this, LOL? It's a nice way to use your gold wedding ring finds that can't be returned.

Another view of the ring. On the detecting side, my last 6-7 hours of detecting haven't been great with just a few coins, an intact ox harness and a woman's Swiss made cheapo wristwatch. Hope to get out today.

The 585 (14K) stamp in the middle, a 3 left for .03Kt diamond and right is the Goldsmith's hallmark. Paid 150 Euros but worth around 500 Euros. MFG, Mike

i think you did a great job, really, and i quess you didn`t spent a fortune, right ?
And so your girl is happy, so you have more time to hunt, right ?
Best regards,
Hoth
Mike,
Beautiful ring. I liked the earrings, too.
Are you saying you bought the sapphires and the diamond?
150 bucks seems inexpensive for the work plus the three gems.
Cheers
