Have not been detecting all week due to a bum left digging arm.  Strained the tendons in my left elbow when I did a self move to a new apartment 3 months ago, realized it was not getting better so I finally went to the doctor.  He gave me Electro Therapy for 5 days and some medication, after the second treatment of Electro Shock, it felt much better and after the 5th treatment I am doing much better so I did a mild hunt Sunday.  Went to a fresh mowed grass field I have nearly hunted out as I have found some very old coins here, 1320ish is the oldest.  I had found 4 interesting finds, only dug 12 holes and was ready to stop when the farmer showed up to cut the last of the field.  Had some conversation with him and he asked if I could find some border stones with iron in them, I said I sure could try since this farmer has given me exclusive rights to hunt all his fields even when planted.  I met him after lunch and was able to locate 3 border stakes for him and determine a corner of his forest that he was very interested in.  Also found a few more border stones made of Granite, it was a fun hunt with him and he was very happy, so was I.  Here's the finds.  A small bell intact, my third ever.

Obverse of a 1925 Brass Aluminum 10 Pfennig coin in nice condition.

Reverse of the 1925, sometimes they are in nice condition and sometimes they are terrible!

A nice condition pewter buckle, maybe late 1700s, did a quick buckle book reference but did not find it.

A nice small weight.  Not sure what kind of weight it is, it says 1/7 and weighs 4 grams, 1/7 of an ounce.  The rest of the words are obvious.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks for checkin out the post and HH, Mike

Tuco

Hi Bavaria Mike,

bei dem Gewicht dürfte es sich um 1/2 Louis d`or handeln, der
Französischen Hauptgoldmünze. Gabs in vielen Varianten. Bei
SONN ist bestimmt der Typ, "au soleil", gemeint. Bei dem Typ
ist in dem Zentrum der Rückseite eine Sonne zu sehen.
Zeitlich Ludwig XIV.(1643-1715).

Gruß, Tuco :-)
